Amazon.com Product Description The O'Neill Youth Skins Short Sleeve Crew offers rash and total sun protection in a lightweight, stretchy, and quick drying garment that will wear like a second skin on the water. With UPF of 50+ eager young swimmers will not have to be reminded to leave the water to reapply sunscreen, and the 4-way stretch, quick dry fabric is designed to withstand the rigors of the surf and sea. Overlocked stitching and a low crew collar give the rashguard a tee-shirt look that young people will want to wear. The crew is detailed with a board short connector loop at the front bottom center as well as signature O'Neill lettering and emblem. The great style lines, high-performance construction, and wearable comfort of the Youth Skins Crew are emblematic of the more than half a century that O'Neill has been creating top quality surf gear. About O'Neill Sometime around 1952, Jack O'Neill opened the first surf shop in a garage across the Great Highway. He shaped a few balsa surfboards and sold accessories like paraffin wax and few vests (glued together from neoprene). When the vests started selling, Jack decided to go into the wetsuit business. His friends laughed. They asked him what he planned to do for business after the handful of surfers in the area had bought one. Jack said he'd cross that bridge when he got to it.

| Customer Reviews: Be careful of size. January 7, 2010 C. Crowe I ordered a size 12 for my son that weighs 73 pounds. He is tall and slim and this shirt fits perfectly for a rash guard (not too loose). He normally wears a size 10 shirt.
Well-made rashguard August 13, 2008 Yvette D. Shuster 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a very well-made rashguard, as to be expected from a product made by O'Neill. However, I purchased my son a size 10 thinking it would be the right side since he is a bit smaller than most 9 year old boys. In the product listing they mention that the guard is fitted and to purchase larger than you normally wear. They weren't kidding! When the rashguard arrived, it would most likely have fit a preschooler. It was so small. The shirt is great, just be sure to purchase at least 3 times what your child normally wears. I found that it was best for me to take my son into a store to try on rashguards. O'Neill rashguards tend to vary the way they fit even though they may have the same size listed.
