Amazon.com Product Description The O'Neill Women's Skins Long Sleeve Crew brings you rash and total sun protection in a lightweight, stretchy, and quick drying garment that will wear like a second skin on the water. With UPF of 50+ you will not have to leave the water to reapply sunscreen, and the 4-way stretch, quick dry fabric is designed to withstand the rigors of the surf and sea. Flatloc seam construction, ergonomic seam placement, and tagless collar ensure zero abrasion comfort and are ideal for high-intensity swimming and paddling. The crew is detailed with a board short connector loop at the front bottom center as well as signature O'Neill lettering and emblem. The great style lines, high-performance construction, and wearable comfort of the Women's Skins Crew are emblematic of the more than half a century that O'Neill has been creating top quality surf gear. About O'Neill Sometime around 1952, Jack O'Neill opened the first surf shop in a garage across the Great Highway. He shaped a few balsa surfboards and sold accessories like paraffin wax and few vests (glued together from neoprene). When the vests started selling, Jack decided to go into the wetsuit business. His friends laughed. They asked him what he planned to do for business after the handful of surfers in the area had bought one. Jack said he'd cross that bridge when he got to it.

Great shirt, bad smell July 27, 2010 L. Newman (Naples, FL) I'm a swimming teacher in Florida (yes, my profile says Richmond. I'm aware of that), and have always worn Body Glove rashguards. I decided to give O'Neill a try, and was pleasantly surprised to find a very comfortable shirt with much more of a true fit than Body Glove.
Unfortunately after just a few weeks of wear (which means I wore it at least 15 times), it developed a bad smell, like it's been left balled up inside a wet towel in the trunk of a car for two weeks. I've tried washing it out, and it will go away, but only until it's wet again. I'm very careful with my swimwear, and I've never had this problem with any other rashguard.
I love the fit and comfort, but I can't wear it because of the smell. I supposed I should have given it one star, but maybe I just got one bad shirt.
Fabulous Purchase, but order one size up August 11, 2009 Missy (Seattle, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This shirt made my life bearable while on a sunny vacation. Rather than applying sunscreen endlessly, I wore this over my swimsuit on the really sunny days. I wore it 4 days in a row! And I didn't sunburn at all. It dries really quickly in the sun, but is nice to get it wet to cool yourself off quickly.
Do order one size up. I normally wear a medium, and bought a large. It was like a slim cut shirt. Any bigger, and it would have been awkward in the water. But if it was my normal size, it would have been WAY too tight.
I would suggest this to anyone who burns easily or likes to have a little extra coverup over their swimsuit.
practical and stylish November 25, 2008 SierraGoddess (Santa Cruz, NM United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm in the sea a lot during the summer. I wore this shirt every time I went swimming this summer. It's still in great shape. It protected me from the sun. And, it's very stylish. It matched most of my swim gear. Fits great. Easy to take off when wet. Drys quickly if you don't remove it right away after getting out of the water.
waiting September 15, 2008 Judith A. Kendall 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I continue waiting for this product to arrive. Initially, the first shirt was either mistagged or just very, very small. I returned it the same day and have not received new merchandise. Two weeks ago the company reported that the new shirt was being sent.... it must be by "pony express".
Nice product and price September 5, 2008 D. DeMarco (New Jersey) I used it to swim with Dolphins in Bimini and it protected me from the sun very well. It fit well, looked good and held up well.
